In 2023 a Fremont battery startup was fitting out an existing building before moving in. We designed and installed video conferencing for all 13 of its meeting rooms, and had two weeks to build and commission them.

Challenge
The building was still being finished while we worked. Some rooms didn't have their furniture yet when we started, so displays, cameras and cabling went in around the rest of the fit-out, and every room still had to be tested before the staff moved in. The rooms ranged from small huddle spaces to a 20-person room, and people needed to start a meeting the same way in all of them.

Technical approach
We sized the equipment to each room instead of putting the same kit everywhere, using Logitech Rally 4K, Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini systems with Samsung commercial displays. Every room was set up as a Microsoft Teams Room, so starting a meeting works the same way in a huddle room as in the CEO office. The rooms can also join Zoom and Cisco meetings hosted by people outside the company.

Outcome
Results
The rooms were simple enough that meetings started on time. People walked in and joined without spending the start of each meeting getting connected or asking whether everyone could see the screen.
